1970's (?) Front Bumper Impact Strip-NOS
1970's (?) Front Bumper Impact Strip-NOS
Front bumper impact strip, or "insert bar" as the parts book calls it.
I couldn't find this one in my parts book, so, application is unknown.
This is an NOS part, part #417749.
If someone recognizes this part or can identify this part number, I'd appreciate being informed.
$90.00 plus shipping.

Ed, the closest I can get is 417745 which is 76-77 Toro rear. So that tells me it's probably later than 76. This one is rubber which leads me to believe it's 70s. They'd started using moulded vinyl by the 80s.
Does it mount with threaded metal studs or plastic pins?

If you check my other thread for the '73 Toro impact strip,
those studs are the same as this strip.
I'm not where the box is at the moment, but, someone had handwritten a number on the box
and I believe your 417745 was it.
However, the 417749 was molded into the rubber on the backside of the strip, so I would assume
that would be the correct number unless it was revised after the original fabrication of the part.
By the way, thanks for the input, Rocketraider.
