These pictures are probably the reason I can't sell the car as a complete car.

The rear seat is in great shape, of course the seat covers aren't any good.
The jump seat is in excellent condition.
Good driver door panels.
Rust free doors.
Great looking roof.

In the Northeast that's "rust-free"...

Seriously, this photo is the problem, as it screams "roof window pinchweld rust":

Really? That looks more like the interior panels were simply baked in the sun to me. I don't see rust, just discolored panels... are we looking at the same thing here?? If we are, I'm shocked. SHOCKED I tell ya Joe

I agree with Allan. It looks like someone rode a few times with the rear window down. It would be ashame to part this car.

The damage on the sides is due to the sun. It looks as though the car sat with the driver's side facing the sun for a long time. There is no rust up around the windows or on the hardware, trim, rear tail gate, or side panels. Some surface rust in the center rear cargo hold, and major rust in the lower quarters.

That doesn't rule out a leak in the side windows where the quarter panel was damaged and repaired. Or a leak in the window seals.

I pulled the rear seat out of the car today and took some pictures. Being from Colorado it's proving to be an easy car to take apart.

Good driver quality rear sun visors

The seat belt are so so. You may be able to clean them up.

This car is coming apart nicely, and easily. I have the rear compartment gutted out and surprisingly the car was way more solid than anticipated.

I don't expect these parts to sell very fast since these Vista Cruisers aren't as popular as the Cutlass models are so I am storing everything indoors, boxed up and labeled for future sale. The seats, hinges, tailgate, tailgate motor, etc are in really nice shape. Call or send a PM if you need anything.
Thanks

Does this have the same trim around the face of the dash as my 1972 VC? It's a long thin piece of trim in an inverted U shape.
I also might be interested in a good dash top, steering wheel, factory radio, the c-pillar, inside plastic covers...

Were the seats originally with fabric. I heard the Vista Seats only came in vinyl?...

IMO It's better to buy the chrome trim that goes around the dash from the aftermarket.

Sticky,
Send me a PM and we'll work out the details on the plastic c pillar trim.

Thanks Tom

Do you know a company that reproduces the chrome dash trim?

I was interested in the lower c-pillar plastic covers that Sicky didn't need. I should be able to repaint them in blue to match my interior.
