1970 Toronado, solid car, what to do?

I can get this car for a grand, it seems pretty solid, I see a little bondo in the bottom of the fenders & a little rust by the passenger quarter. Seems pretty nice inside & it runs. There is a little engine noise, but I was told it is in the top end. Probabaly worn trunions in the valve train? It has been sitting in a junkyard for a couple years now & I hate to see it parted out. The title is clear & I'm wanting to buy it & flip it, your thoughts?

Another nice looking car that makes you wonder why someone junked it.

What could it cost to stuff it in a container and send it to EightballZ?

Buy it. If u don't/can't fix it or sell to someone who will, then part it out. These options are better than they crush her for the fast buck. Then all those hard to find parts are gone for good. Good luck, Ken

Damn I miss my 70 Toronado.
I think it's a steal for that price but I would still want to see the frame. Deluxe interior is nice too. Check the fluids.

It would make a nice mill for your round about Cutlass...
All parts after that, pure profit. Just my .02
Good luck, I would hate to see it crushed for the fast buck too.

WOW that's a solid looking toronado,

can you still buy seat covers and stuff for that car? I know we can get them for the cutlass, i figure we're just lucky...

Absolutely buy it. Worse case scenario, you will like her and start throwing time & money at her. Best case scenario, you sell her whole or part her out for a profile. Either way is better than the yard just crushing her. My cars were all field cars I dragged home with intent to part/sell but instead I took a liking too, now my "money pits." Lol Good luck, Ken
