1970 Parts car (F-85)

I picked this up last week. It is a rough looking F-85, but it appears to be fairly complete. It has the following:

Three speed tramsmission which was converted from a column shift to a floor shift.

Two barrel Olds 350

A/C (complete)

Twelve bolt peg leg rear end

Original AM radio

8-track playerSold

1971 louvered hood (hood is damaged but the louvers are good driver quality)

Everything is for sale.

The car is located in Birmingham Alabama

I have an excellent dash pad in another car (1972 A/C car). It's blue, No cracks.

Just in case anyone is wondering, I own both cars in the picture. They are stored on a friends commercial property.

I live in a neighborhood governed by an HOA

'70 f-85

Hi Tom.

How much is the tape deck, and does the F-85 have disc brakes? How are the grilles? Surprised no one wants the entire car, as it seems there is demand for F-85 bodies.

Thanks,
Anthony

Anthony,

The Grille is spoken for by another member.

The eight Track player is $200.00

No disc brakes.

The floors and the trunk pan are toast. The doors are repairable, damage in the lower quarters.

Doors are $65.00 plus shipping. They are solid but will require work.

I figured F-85s were rare, so I went ahead and paid a fair price for it. There is nothing on this car that I can use for any of my builds. So I am hoping some fellow members will be able to take advantage of this find.

Thanks

Are they specific to the F-85? I have a Cutlass S that I know has one.

I wrote a note to look at the rear sway bar in the F-85 first thing tomorrow morning.

The sway bar should fit any of the 70-72 Cutlass models. I have one from an older car that is not quite right. What year Cutlass S?

The pillar trim on the interior of the car is busted beyond repair and missing pieces.

The pillar trim (alloy) on the outside is in good condition. Just sand and paint.

No rear sway bar

The Horn and glove box have been sold.

The grille is busted up and missing parts. I will pull it if someone wants to try to repair them. $30.00 plus shipping, but I wouldn't recommend it.

The vent windows are nice driver quality pieces. $45.00 each plus shipping

No rear armrest, no seat belts

I just sold my really nice three core radiator. The one in the F-85 has a dent in the top right side.

I still have parts from this car.

If the price for what you need seems too high, please make an offer.

Pm me with your questions and email address and I will send you high resolution pictures of the parts you're interested in.

Thanks
