I'll include my OAI air cleaner for my true original W31 4spd motor (carb missing) for 5K. See my earlier posts for details and pictures.

 

As cool as it is and as much as I like W31's that's a lot of $$$ for just an engine. The cars as a whole unfortunately don't go that much past that.

 

That's crazy money for an engine that won't make a factory correct match to anything it gets put into. That is, except for the 1 car it originally came in. Powerball odds? Maybe.

 

Oh and for "low miles" someone took the time to paint it black and what's with that fuel line and those goofy breathers on the valve covers?? Where's the PCV now? Sad thing is the guy knows what he has is rare,but has dreams of what it's worth. If he doesn't come to terms with real value he'll die and family will likely scrap it. Oh well good for conversation.

 

 

For 5K is just the carburetor missing?
