Thinning out my collection a bit., This is a ‘70 O-type anti-spin SF coded 3:23 differential. 12 bolt cover/10 bolt carrier. The gears are in good condition w/o excessive backlash/zero gear corrosion. It will require a cosmetic refurb with new seals before installation to the vehicle of choice. The stamping is rather faint, and will be illegible after painting, but can be seen with paint stripped. (See photo). Two of the outboard brake line tabs were broken, one missing one welded back on. Available for local pickup or will secure to a pallet for shipping via ABF or other shipping carriers if mutually convenient at buyer’s expense. $1000 plus shipping. I’ve started to bring this unit back to a presentable status. The cover and both brake backing plates/hardware have been blasted and painted. I’ve also fabricated/welded and dressed the missing brake line tabs to make installation easier. The price is the same for another two weeks. After that I’ll begin clean the housing, install bearings and seals. The price will dramatically increase once I’m vested. (Then again so will the convenience factor). Thanks much for your interest.😀
Exterior cleaned, rust removed, deep cleaning inside, bearings/races inspected, new pinion seal, new vent, cover seal, additive tag, upper bushings and paint. Pinion/cover static leak checked and all bearings/gears saturated/drained.
