1970 Cutlass Cruise control Bellows NOS
Cruise servo is sold!
I have for sale a NOS cruise control bellows or servo which would be correct for 1970 or early 1971 and possibly 1969. I bought this 5 or so years ago for a project i no longer own so might as well get it to someone that can use it. Asking $180 plus shipping from WI. Payment in money order or paypal if you pay the fees. Any questions PM me.
Thanks Greg

Wow, you don't see these often, even in used condition. Can I ask what the plating on the ends is? In your pics it looks like its not plated at all, mine looks like it may have been cadmium at one time as it looks yellower than the one you have.

Oh wow! I 'm sorry I haven't been able to get on here for awhile. I have a 71 442 conv with cruise, it has the servo that looks just like the one you have. Mine still works, after I put a big hose clamp on each end. Yeah, it looks tacky. I would be interested in it if you would be willing to get out of the vault. I'm also trying to find the correct part number for the transducer, without any luck. The transducer that I have does not work right, & I like to get a remanufactured one. Could someone help me out with this?

cruise control
The servo arrived as promised. Sorry I do not get o here daily. My car is a 71 as well. It is an early 71 build with 70 cruise control units and 70 fenders as well. The transducer you can get from Napa. They have a rebuilder they use that does them. I actually got one from them and they sent mine out for a rebuild as well so I have an extra. They may not know what you are talking about unless you get a parts savvy counterperson. As far as your bellows goes my original would not hold vaccuum either, so I put a small bead of right stuff silicone on the rubber on both side and she works pretty good now. I just wanted to go as original as possible if I could. Its funny the old setup works but it surges some. The new cars definetly have the bugs worked out but I wouldnt trade it for the world. sorry for the long read but I have been into my cruise setup pretty deep.
Thanks for the part. Now I need an NOS front bumper for my 71.

W31man, Rock Auto has bellows # AEU4090 that will work for a 70, It's not as deep as the original, so the internal spring will have to be shortened by a third or so. I'm using it on my 70 and it works perfectly. Also Cardone makes a rebuilt transducer, #36101 Rock Auto has them for $75 + $5 core charge. Surging problems are usually caused by a vacuum leak, bellows or hose.
