I recently stumbled across a small surplus of these. This Pin Kit is exactly the same as the OEM original pin and spring clip used to connect the OAI vacuum motor to the flapper door. The only difference from OEM is that this pin is made from Stainless Steel so it will not rust or tarnish. The regular steel reproduction pins are available from sources like Thorntons and In-Line Tube and cost approximately $15 with tax and shipping. Save a few dollars and buy one or two of these for less. The photos show the comparison of the repro pin to the ones I have. Caution: These things work like a Chinese finger trap, a little difficult to press on but extremely difficult to get off. $10 apiece or two (2) for $15 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states.
