I’m offering this 1970-72 eight track player (with ‘70 burlwood insert). This player is complete, but will require service to be functional. The wires are intact and includes *****, ground strap, support bracket and screws for player to house. Full disclosure: This original housing was broken and repaired by me with aluminum sheet metal doublers and two part structural adhesive. The fascia surrounding plastic insert has been replaced with an aluminum sheet metal insert with 10/32 floating nut plates. The repairs completed were done with the intention of using on my own car and are not visible once installed.(See photos) I have since acquired a unit which has no damage, hence the sale. Upon repair, these pieces were prepped and coated with SEM tuxedo black paint. The burlwood appliqué has also been touched and satin recleared. In short, I’m listing this player as a very nice, DRIVER QUALITY unit requiring a routine service. $225 plus shipping or pick up if convenient. More photos on request.
