What is that dated on the back? I have 2 of those,both dated 1970,and sold a 3rd one that was also dated 70. Just curious if anyone has seen one in a 71 or 72.
Mine are not for sale.

 

Good point Brian, I've seen 4 and the ones with stickers were 1970 but looks like it was an option in all three years but maybe only made one (I doubt that though)

For the hardcores; the speedometers are different between 1970 and 1971/1972.

 

speedo is sold but not shipped yet. i want buyer to be satisfied with this as i listed and sold it as 70-72 speedo. can you tell me what the difference is between 70 and 71-72? thanks joe.

the only visible difference I know of is the bright light indicator for a 70 is red for 71/72 it is blue

Yes. 1970 had a red high beam light.
