1970 442 Cutlass SX Fender Braces

For consideration is a pair of 1970 442, SX, or big block car fender braces that runs from the top of the fender to the lower cowl. The these will fit from 1970 thru 1972, however, technically for 1970 only. $125.00 including the ride within the 48 States. PM if interested.

Why do you say these are only technically correct for 1970 only? I have them on both my 71 SX and 442. It is my understanding they were used on all big block Olds A bodies from 70 to 72. You have limited your true market.

Interesting. I do not know there was a difference between the 1970 and 1971/1972 fender braces, with the '70 have the nuts welded to them and '71/'72 braces having the studs welded to them. Learn something new everyday about these cars.

I thought it was the other way around and that the 70 manual shows a nut and a washer on the fender and that is how my oct built 70 w-30 is.

From looking under the hood they look the same with a nut and washer. It is the other side that is different. The back side has a nut welded to it with a bolt all the way through it pointing to the under side of the hood. These were only found in 1970.
