So I have seen a few horn bar mounting tabs under the center cap, broken on these 69 sport wheels.
I had a wheel that all 3 were broken on, so After a few ideas and mock ups, we came up this clip that works like a charm.
These have been laser cut for perfect consistency, and a 2 piece die was made to form them accurately. Made of good gauge metal ( forgot the actual gauge, but not lightweight crap ). Will also be painted aluminum color to match the horn bar.

May also fit 68 style wheels, but have not been tested as I do not have a 68 wheel to check them on.

Nice gesture. I'm considering these. My wheel doesn't have this issue- YET. But as with most things like this, if I don't do something now, later on when I need them it'll be the old story of "a guy named Tim on the classic olds site used to sell these. Too bad he retired from doing all that junk 5 years ago" and you can't get them anymore.
I received a set today. There are no broken parts on my wheel but I bought these as a “just in case”. While I have no use for them at the moment I wanted to say they are made of great quality and will definitely be a great fix if in need. Nice work Tim! Greg.
I got a set of these and they work and fit perfectly to secure the horn button with a previously broken spoke mount. Horn cap fit perfectly over them. Great solution for a previously hard to fix issue….highly recommended……thanks
