I'd throw it on FB in one of the Olds groups. A guy that's local to me just had one on there for $800. It was missing the distributor but it was a four speed motor with a flywheel and Z-bar included. I don't know what he got for it but he turned my $300 offer down (I don't really need ANOTHER 400G block anyway), and he sold it in a couple of days

Is the block standard bore?
What do the water jackets look like?

I have not had the engine apart.
I built a 455 for my 69 Olds. The G engine was running when I pulled it. There were no problems, and it was a good running engine.
I used the carb on my new build, but I have not touched it since I put it away about 10 years ago.
Thanks for the interest.

Was the engine behind a automatic trans or stick?
Would you ship or local pickup only?

Not sure that would work.
I have not shipped a large item before.
It is possible.

I can deliver it for a nominal fee to most places in south Georgia. For the right price, I may go as far as Atlanta.

Should be a cast N crank with C heads. Beat me to it Bernhard.
Someone should take advantage of this engine. They aren't as bad as some
of the naysayers would tell you. With a proper rebuild that is.

Hello, engine has C heads, I would assume the crank is stock, but I have not taken it apart, running great when pulled.

It's been in my storage unit for a few years, a few more months aren't going to matter.
It is a good engine.
