That does look nice, I am a bit of a wider tire guy, I'm wondering if I can get away with 225/60/15 without issues?

Its easy to say "don't scrap it" when you're not the one with limited space being taken up by a an 18+ foot long car and no one's calling about it (even when its advertised as a rock bottom price).

I say get as much as you can selling off individual parts, and when you've wrung all you can out of it, sell what's left for scrap value. Its really not dead, as long as we remember it.

I scrapped one just like that.

It was around 1994, it had multiple shattered pistons, essentially no rust, a straight body, and 66,000 miles on it... And nobody wanted it.

Still got the tranny (O-B).

Now I wish I hadn't, though .

Five climate zones and one time zone away?

Why don't you just stop by and drop it off?

can you post some pics of the cardboard trunk trim pieces?

I might be interested in;

both fender skirts

the trunk pieces

rear bumper

from turn signal lenses

rear lenses complete assembly

side marker lights

cig lighter

front grille pieces

headlight trim pieces

reverse light assembly

these would all be held for reserve pieces...just in case they're ever needed.

Thanks,

mike

I assume the car has front disc brakes? Those wheels were included with the disc brake option in '67 & 68.
If the brakes are in good shape, I'd be interested in the complete spindle/rotor/caliper assemblies.

Darn, I'm a day late and a dollar short on those wheels.. Anyway, I'll be traveling to Dallas from Indiana 5 October and will be driving through AR & not too far from this car, so if anybody needs anything that will if in my car or van I could bring down to Dallas or back with me to Southeastern Indiana. I'm 30 miles from Cincinnati, OH.
