All 1968-1990 Olds motors take the same flywheels.

Thank you Joe, Im very new to this and am trying to understand the intricacies of these things. Quick question, so when Im shopping for a new one at summit or wherever they have different options based on engine size, I could get one that fits an olds 350 that is less expensive and it would fit my 455? Thanks again

First, I assume you really are talking about a manual trans flywheel and not an automatic trans flexplate. Second, the flywheel used on an Olds 350 is exactly the same part number as one used on an Olds 455. If Summit or any other vendor lists different P/Ns or prices, the "350" part is likely for a Chevy 350, not an Olds motor. Read their description and applications VERY carefully.

Remember the 64 to 67 flywheel bolt pattern is different and will not work.

I have an earlier bolt pattern flywheel I think. It doesn't like up with later cranks. I don't have any early ones. Is there any way to measure or check to see if it's an earlier olds?
