1968 Delta 88 parts for sale

I've got two 1968 88's I'm parting out right now, one is a Delta 88 the other is a Delta Custom. Both have 455's and lots of good parts. I've also got a collection of 1964-77 Cutlass parts that I need to thin down. I'm located in Medford Oregon if any of you west coasters are close enough to stop by your welcome to check out the clutter, I mean treasure! Otherwise respond to this message or email me at jmcneel@msn.com

Hi Bill, I believe I've got the side marker lights and a 1970 hood. Not the scooped hood but one that has the two metal grills by the windshield, looks just like the 1969 442 hood but has the correct latch for the 1970. I'll dig out the sidemarkers to photograph them. Let me know if you'd like to see photos of the hood too. John

Hi Bill
This weekend got away from me, as usual I tried to do too many things! I do have a photo of the top of the hood on my photobucket site. The address is: http://s90.photobucket.com/albums/k257/2blu442/ The paint is cracked and flaking, but I don't think there is any dents or damage to the metal. I'm pretty sure I have the sidemarker lights, and I may have a complete jack assembly, I'll have to dig around. Let me know if you have any trouble accessing the photobucket site. John

Cars and Parts

Hi Bill
For the 1970 hood $75 without the hood tounge or chrome hockey sticks. The 1977 442 is a project car, no engine or trannie but I believe everything else is there. It was an automatic transmission car, bucket seats, factory sway bars. The white car is a 1975 Cutlass parts car that has black swivel buckets, console, tilt floor shift column. Then not in the photos is a 1974 Cutlass/442 clone. It's a Cutlass with the 442 hood and emblems, complete car. The white car is suppose to have a good running engine. I bought these as a package deal, they've been sitting for several years. I haven't washed the lichens off them yet as I have them in a storage facility, but I don't think rust is a problem. I've got extra engines and trannies, if your looking for a project car I could set you up with most of what you'd need. Are you close enough to come check them out? I've also got a 1977 Delta 88Indy Pace Car for sale, and a couple other project cars from 1964-72 vintage. John

It will probably be the weekend before I can get over there in the daylight and snap some pictures. I'll send a message to let you know they're posted on the photobucket site. If you were able to move it before the first of Jan. so I didn't have to pay more storage on it, I would take $600 for it. John

Hi Bill, I have titles for the 442 and 442 clone, but not the white parts car. I would take $1500 for all three including a new set of swivel bucket seat covers, black in color to recover the seats in the white car. I'll try to get those photos this weekend. John

1972

It's a driver, but has a reconstructed title. The drivers side quarter panel has rips in it, looks almost like it was cut with a can opener! Some damage to the door, but nothing like the quarter panel. Then the right front fender, hood and stone shield have a different color underneath. The nice part is there is no rust in the usual places. There is some surface rust under the vinyl top, but the lower fenders and quarter panels are clean. Drives nice, so I don't think there is any frame damage, my guess is that maybe in the 1980's it had enough damage to be considered a total by the insurance company. Radio cut out of the dash, but I have the glove box door, I may have another dash in the rafters of the garage. I put the 1971 Supreme grills in it, a 2.78 posi, performer intake and Holly Avenger carb. Brakes re-done last summer, power disc added to front, 1 1/4" sway bar put in front and aftermarket sway bar added to rear. 350 engine, TH350 trannie, SSII wheels, tires are almost new. I have a new set of seat covers to convert it over to bucket seats. Price somewhere around $2750, can negotiate up or down for the seat covers, dash, wheels and tires, etc. Great potential, but again I have too many projects. Johnn

well its not fair to hve you pay storage while i make payments to you and pick up cars in june. i don't know what your storage fees are but it just doesn't make sense as you have probably concluded. i e-mailed my brother -in-law this morning and hes not budging from his position. sorry deal went south, but you will have a sale this june. if you could- e-mail your address/ phone # so we can hook up in june. i'm sure i'll find a project or two from you in june. sincerely, bill.

1968 Delta 88 and Delta Custom

Sorry Guys, I haven't checked this post in a while. I guess after a specific length of time we stop getting emails of posts. I have a few items left, but it got to the point where I needed the room so the hulks went away. The items I know I still have are:

Rear fender extensions
Trunk or deck lid
Power window setup
Door panels for power windows
Speedometer cable
Engines/transmissions
Black Dash and instrument panel
Bucket seat brackets and seat rails
Tail lights
Wiring harness
Delta Custom emblems

Probably a few other things, but that's what comes to mind. John

Olds 88 Dash

Hi Chris, it will be a couple days before I can get some photos for you. As I remember the chrome is in pretty good shape and it has the wood grain applique over the top of it. John

I was told that this might work.

4door88 I've got some steering wheels but even the best one has some cracks in it. I've heard the repair kits are pretty good, do you have one with just some cracks or is yours falling apart?

Chris, I too some photos this afternoon. I'll try to email them to you either later tonight or Sunday afternoon.

Dan, do you know if the one you need is the flattened out mast or a round one? The only power ones I have are round. I have one from a 1966 Toro, a 1966 Riviera and one I believe came from a 1969 Electra. The 1969 was mounted in the rear fender, the others were up front. John

Chris, I'll try to get the photos to you Thursday after work.

Dan, I would like to test the antenna before making a price on it. I'll try to get to that this weekend.
