1968 Cutlass Parts

I parted out a couple of cars late last year. Both were 1968 Cutlass

I have a few misc parts left. I can send pictures upon request. I'll probably open the boxes up later in the week and take more pictures when I have more time.

Thanks
Tom

Thanks

Thanks guys for all the help and parts.

I discovered that I don't need hood hinges, I guess the 68's hood doesn't open as high as others! (Got quite a few goose eggs on my head now)!

Next is to remove the dash and find out why the gauges are not working...
(I understand that this is a difficult task, especially with A/C).

Remove the seats and console/shifter if equipped. The rear seats will act as a foot rest and you can lay flat. Get an assembly and fisher body manual if you dont have them already.

Wondering if you would have the tube that goes from the valve cover to the air cleaner for a 68 400.

Oil Dipstick

Has anyone had a problem with their oil dipstick?
Mine will not go all the way down and the dipstick tube sees to be loose.
I've turned the tube all different directions while applying pressure to get the dipstick down, but it won't go.
The one thing I noticed is that the dipstick is twisted 45 degrees at the very end and I didn't know if thats how it came from the factory? Very frustrating.

Fuse in engine compartment?

Does anyone know what this in line fuse is for in the engine compartment?
It's on the drivers side fender well and goes to a relay.
Thanks,
Mike

alternator bracket 1971 cutlass with a/c

I need an upper bracket for the alternator for a 1971 Cutlass Supreme with the 350 rocket. I need it for the variation that accomodates WITH A/C.

I have found a bunch for the passenger side (without factor A/C) but I am having NO LUCK finding the one for the Driver's side.
Please contact me.

Sincerely,

Rob Alvarez

I've been off line for awhile.
I still have a ton of 1968 parts left and I have just recently added another parts car to the inventory.
I recommend sending me a text if you are interest in any parts.

Thanks

A/C Hold relay

Hi,

I need the a/c hold relay on the passenger side inner fender well, it should have 3 prongs.

Rear trunk chrome (if in good shape) that says "Oldsmobile" if not in good shape, I need the nuts that attach that chrome to trunk lid and fenders corners.

Windshield washer pump if operable.

Windshield washer black/chrome ****.

Ignition key round bezel.

Thanks,
Mike

What's the condition of your 68 auto console? I see you have/had a black one. How much. Condition is important. Al
