For Sale: 1968 bucket seat plastic lower side panels (4) and plastic back panels (2)


These pieces were originally the olds/buick dark red color (68 only) .
One of the back panels was black and repainted dark red. The other back panel was repainted red again.

Overall they are in really nice shape for original panels, some paint overspray on the tops of the side panels. One small gouge into the plastic on a back panel, but very nice for used peices.

I would recommend stripping them and redying them before use.

RAMBOW, are you still doing reupholstering full time? If you are may I suggest you move to Ohio. You would be centrally located which will lower shipping costs and enhance business. Plus it seems like I'm always looking for someone nearby to upholsterer something. good luck with your business.

 

Who was it... someone had a note under their signature saying "wanted, red guts" for a 1968.

Gotta go check to see if these are better than what I have.

 

You could use these "as is" on a driver, but if it were me I would want to strip and repaint/dye them.

The nice thing is they are in great shape, no gouges(except the one shown) or plastic deterioration. the grain is all real nice.
