1968 Bench Seat

these came off of a 1968 Cutlass S Bench Seat. The bottom was too far gone to bother with but the seat backs are decent.

$25.00 each plus shipping

My problem is my 67 was a mess, and I had the seat bottom (recovered), the armrest (bad shape), the passenger seat back (recovered), but not the driver seat back (gone.)

I ended up getting a bad frame for a latch, and bought a 72 4 door armrest folder seat from a junkyard, and had the covers I had put on the driver back from it. It fits and works, but it's an inch taller and wider than the original passenger, (see pic).

I figure I will just recover the other 72 one and use them both. Won't be correct, but will be at least consistent. I guess if I found another 67 seat I could be correct, but I like how the 72 fits a little better. Thoughts?

Yeah, it takes a lot of time, effort and money to get things correct when a good alternative may be quicker, easier, and less expensive while providing better creature comfort.
I posted a picture of the later model deluxe seat with the arm rest, similar to yours but with the headrest. The headrest on this seat is from an even later model Buick. Something the previous owner added.
