sure it will fit
some minor cable/ linkage mods might be required, and EGR won't be used.

Yes I can give you pictures, it may be easier over email or text,
But it should bolt up to a 78 olds just fine. And if you prefer me to post pictures here, I can, it will just be a day or two

I also have the original 2bbl carb that goes with it, the tag is still on it also

Any issues with the engine? I have a 350 that I just had the heads rebuilt on but the bottom end is shot. I am in New York. Would you be able to ship?

I'm sorry but if you mean you are asking for the block, I am currently using it, I had just swapped on a 4bbl, so the 2bbl was extra.
I know a guy that has a few 350 engines for sale, $350- ball park for a running one.
He's older and has everything for Oldsmobiles but you would most likely have to arrange everything for shipping.
