1968 400 V-8 Motor (68 442) for Parts or Rebuild in CT
This is a fairly complete (less 7028253 quadrojet) 1968 400 V-8 motor. Standard equipment on 68 442.C Heads, J Intake, X and Y manifolds, etc. Have no idea if it turns or runs—assumed for rebuild (pickup in CT 06451)--$750 Also have matching OG TH-400 Trans for rebuild-- $500. Can make a package deal on the pair. Have documentation. Always stored indoors. Call 203-272-7103 after 5pm or email ros6872@hotmail.com for further communication
Have lots of nice 68 442 parts—what do you need?

That particular carb is running perfectly un-rebuilt on a customer's 68 400.
I also have a complete 69 400 with carb.....

Can you get your customer to take a picture of the carb numbers and post it on here?

Carb

well as I remember "7028253" was stamped vertically on the driver's side. Email ros6872@hotmail.com. I might have taken a picture at the time of removal....

I'd like to see that. If you do have the pic what was the build date on the cowl tag?

If the motor pad is stamped with 38M352110 I'll buy it.

The '8253 is so rare that folks would REALLY love to see a photo, the date, car's date, etc.

If you can provide a pic that would be great.
