1968-1970 EC radiator

SOLD

1968-1970 EC 4 core radiator. Pulled from a 4 speed car so it has the plugs in the trans cooler ports. Not used since the 80’s. I tested it and it held 15 lbs of pressure. It could likely be used as it is but if I was going to use it myself, I would have a new core put in it. Keep in mind that it is over 50 years old. The tanks, both top and bottom rail, and both inlet and outlet tubes are nice. It is missing the EC tag but those are available reproduction. I did notice it has a couple tubes that have been soldered in its past. $1000 and shipping. Shipping could be on the high side because of the size and weight of it. Located in Brazil Indian, pick up is also welcome.

SOLD

This is a nice rare radiator at a fair price. This won’t last long.

I was privileged to see the tanks in detail before paint and you won’t find a better set. These are really nice and virtually dent free. Good luck on your sale Eric.

That's a nice unit. Wish I needed it for something.

Eric, is Kenny's up in Indy still the place to go for radiator needs?

Yes, He does great work. The paint job is not to restoration standards but he does great work outside of that. Have you used him before? If not and you do, tell him I sent you. A Jetfire friend from Colorado sends his radiators there and deals with the shipping because he can't get a trusted shop local to him.

Here are pictures from before I painted it. I put the paint on real thin because if you recore the radiator it will be less paint to clean off. The tanks and rails are really good and better than the majority of them I see. The dimple below the Harrison is supposed to be there. It is on all of them.

Nice. I will do that. I am fine with him not painting. I can spraybomb black from a can all day long.

I presume the man does heater cores, too.

Yes but on some heater cores it is even more than a radiator. They are smaller but they cost as much and sometimes more.

Does it have the transmission cooler inside for an automatic? If so I would like to buy it.

To clarify, the dimple mentioned in Post #6 found on the 4-row radiator DOES NOT apply to the 3-row radiator.

Yes, I was meaning all the EC radiators. There are some 4 core tanks that do not have the dimple either.
