Despite the fact that some aftermarket upholstery vendors call yours a "split" bench seat, it is not. It is simply a bench seat for a two door car (with the optional center armrest in this case). A split bench seat is physically split and allows you to adjust the right and left halves of the seat fore-aft separately. Essentially a split bench is two wide bucket seats that touch in the middle of the car (sometimes at 50-50, sometimes 40-60, and sometimes 60-40. In fact, a split bench uses the twin seat tracks from bucket seats.
