1967-1968 Cutlass 442 Steering Wheel, Show Car Quality

********SOLD******* 1968 Cutlass/442 black steering wheel. Also correct for the 1967's if you change the horn parts. This is the best used 1967-1968 wheel that I've ever seen. I'm sure it was an early take-off, low mileage wheel. Show car quality in my opinion. The plastic is still smooth and shiny. There are no dings or scuffs or scrapes. Most used 67-68 wheels have a dozen nasty cracks. This wheel only has one tiny partial crack. See the last picture. The crack is about 5/8 inch long and no more than 1/32 inch wide. An easy 5 minute repair that will never be noticed. Lots of pictures coming. $ PM me if interested.

What exactly does that mean - a 5 minute repair? Is that for a professional or any idiot?

Crack repair

For a crack that short and narrow, use a softened black child's crayon. Push into the crack as much as you can and wipe off the excess. I don't think anyone will notice the repair.

Until the car sits in the sun on a hot day and it melts out onto the carpet

You guys are brutal and not funny. Bill sells some of the best parts anywhere and knows what he is talking about. The way I see it neither of you were serious buyers or you wouldn't have started out with sarcasm.

This forum is filled with great information and plenty of people with a vast knowledge willing to share, by not showing respect like what happened here those people will just find someplace else to go. My suggestion here is grow up and show some respect.

I totally agree,Bill is a stand up guy who is a trusted seller. Some of you guys can't stick your finger up your @$$ with both hands. Some of the comments probably come from somebody who has to ask how to check the oil in their car IF they have one.

X 2 Fred.

I check out the classifieds a couple of times a day and get excited when I see Bill's posts. He always has cool NOS and OEM parts, some of which I've never seen before. I hope the previous comments were not meant to be a dig at Bill's character.

I'm the one looking for a steering wheel for a friend whos wheel is beyond repair. I looked at the pics of the blue and even a NOS wheel has a crack so they crack to easy. Were looking for a wheel at a good price that can be fixed easy. I have seen using bowling ball repair.

At $600 I think its too much for my friend BUT on the other end its better than most $200 wheels. Will you take a offer and he works, so hard to contack him but will try tonite.
