1966 Toronado Wheel Covers/Hubcaps

This is a set of four small wheel covers from the 1966 Toronado that I just sold for my brother. There are two in really nice shape, one in ok condition, and one that is beat up. If anyone is interested in these, let me know and make me an offer. I am reasonable, I would like to see at least the two nice ones get back on a car.
I will wait a bit before I put them on Craigslist, in case someone here wants them.
Thanks,
Kathleen

Matt, they'll only work on a Delmont if it has 15" wheels. Search around and you'll find some discussion on here about them.

That means you have a disc brake car, then. Look for posts by copper128 and aliensatemybuick and you'll find pics of other mid-60s big Olds with these wheels and caps.

I think I have discs in the front and drums in the back.

Looking on line, the ones that I have appear to be stock on the early model Toronados. It is nice to finally solve that mystery.

They are stock 1966 Toronado caps; 67-70 Toro use a different small cap.

But... 1967-68 88 and Ninety Eight with disc brakes also use these caps as Olds did not have a 15" wheel cover for those cars. 57-68 big Oldsmobiles used 14" wheels except police or trailer towing option or disc brakes.

They could have used the Toro 15" full wheel covers but on Ninety Eights the wheelcover dome would have been awful close to the fender skirt.

66 Toro small caps are not hard to come by in good condition. Right at 40,000 1966 Toronados were made and there were service parts too. There was discussion on here a few weeks ago about how Olds used a 51-52 Chevy trim ring on 88-98 with disc brake wheels, and the trim rings are available reproduction.

Now just because I told you that there won't be a decent set of 66 Toro caps left in the country.
