1966 Cutlass / 4-4-2 Wire Hubcaps

When I bought my '66 4-4-2 back in '86, the previous owner had installed SSII wheels on it, and he gave me a box containing the disassembled components of the original wire hubcaps with three-pointed "spinner" centers. I assume that they look like the attached photo I found on eBay.

It doesn't appear that these are worth anything other than possibly as decoration.

If anyone around Dallas is interested in them, let me know. I may try polishing them up and reassembling them to see if they are complete, but I am not sure if it is worth the effort.

EDIT:
Per forum rules, I need an asking price. I am asking $1, but the buyer would have to pay shipping.

Just an FYI. There is a You Tube article: Corvair Wire Wheel Hubcap" dated May 22,2013 shows how to restore these caps. 1966 13" 14" and 15" all the same. I restored a set for my 66 Cutlass vert. The article is just great for whomever winds up with these. Shown on my 66.

Dan, thanks for the interest. Since Hairy Olds contacted me first, I will give him first choice, but if it does not work out for some reason, I will let you know.

Thanks, when I bought the car in 2016 it had SS 1's which were not quite good. Bought new Red Lines and just had to have the wire caps. Bought them from one of our forum members and then found the You Tube movie. The look turned out great. Not a 442 so the wires look great with the Red lines. Car is a sleeper. Has a factory 4-speed.

Thanks
Wayne
