I've just been made aware that this is NOT a '66 trunk trim.
Although I removed it several years ago from a '66 4-4-2 parts car,
It apparently was changed in the past.
After looking more closely it's actually for a '67.
Had my head up my rectum on this one.

This a driver quality or core-for-rechroming part.
Very presentable from 6 feet, but definitely not show quality.
It has moderate pitting and chrome is shiny but weathered.

BTW... thats not a 66 trunk lip trim. It should have the "lip" on the top and bottom edge, like this:

You're right. I had forgotten.
I'm not as familiar with the '66 details, but I removed this from a '66 4-4-2 parts car.
I guess someone had replaced the original.
