Still haven't finished taking the 1967 Toro apart. But wanted to list a few items here before putting them on ebay. If your looking for something not listed let me know, I may have it from this car or another one I had in the past. All prices don't include shipping costs, if your close enough to pick up there will be a discount in prices.

Doors, $125 each
Deck lid or Trunk lid, $125
Rear bumper $75
Tail lights $35 each side
Tail panel, $50
Pass side quarter panel $150 (not cut off yet)
vinyl top trip $40
Headlight doors $15 each side
Headlight buckets $20 each side

Floorpan looks good, I think the trunk floor is also good. I'm open to cutting them out or at least patch panels from them. Firewall looks good, non-AC setup. What doesn't sell goes to the scrap yard, so let me know if your needing a panel.

 

How much would you want for the floor and trunk pans, and the roof if it's not full of holes and your willing to cut it off.

 

Price would be based on the time it takes to cut, package and ship the panels. I'll get some photos for you of the trunk floor and main floorpan, then you can tell me where you would want them cut. It has a vinyl top and the rust that it caused is why I decided to part it.

How does the drivers side inside door panel look? What color? If power windows I would be interested in the panel!

How about the arm rest for the front seat?

Sorry, this car has manual windows. Which is sad because the interior is pretty nice and these are not in as much demand. I do have some damage panels from a previous car. If you wanted parts to fix yours I could take some pictures for you. I also have some arm rests with good vinyl, but the plastic sides are broken on them all. John

 

Cleaned the trunk out. It looks like it would be good for patch panels, but there are some holes through. Water must have sat in the grooves. Attached is a picture of the worst spot, but there are some other pin holes in it too. I still need to pull the carpet up front to get photos of the floor pan in the passenger compartment. Didn't find the jack hold down brackets. Let me know if you can think of anything else your looking for. John

Good timing! I was looking at cutting the shell up this weekend. What part of the trunk floor do you need? I thought part of it may need to stay with the quarter panels. John

 

i'm not sure just wanted to check before i ask my "welder"friend about my options . mine is rusted through around the drain and left of the drain.it will be the part i try to fix first .i have the tank out now.how much for it cut just outside the rust and follow bend around to the back?

Do you have the governor from the transmission?

 

I sold the 1967 transmission. But I've got a 1968 and a 1978 Toronado parts cars, plus loose TH400 long tail shaft transmissions. Can you tell me the interchange of what you need? Can the governor be removed without pulling the transmission?

The governor is easily removed with the transmission in the car. On the drivers side of the unit there is a bail going over a dome facing straight up. That is the governor. It is built into the cover, so just flip open the bail and pull it up. The 1968 would be fine though I think 67 to 78 interchange.

 

have you shipped any thing that size to the east coast? how much do you think that will cost? what kind of shape is the louvered panel above the trunk lid in? i still need to clean mine up to see exactly what i have.

 

The piece will be about 36"X36"X4" and probably weighs between 5-10 pounds. I've shipped a lot of stuff to the East Coast. If you'll send me a zip code I can get an approximate costs for you.

Yes the louvered panel between the trunk lid and back windshield is in nice shape. Once you decide what you need let me know. John

 

The 1968 is stored at a friends shop, the 1978 is here in the driveway. I scrapped the packrat next away from the cap with a bale, but didn't see an obvious way it fastened to the transmission. Can you tell me how to pull it?

Put a small screwdriver under the bail and flip it to the side like on a master cylinder cover. Then the dome pulls straight up with only a thick o-ring for a seal. They usually come right out.

 

Easy peasy one you told me how! I've pulled the one from the 1978. Do you need any photos/measurements to be sure it will fit your car? John

I'll look first of the week i may get you to cut the center out i don't want to get in the supports unless i have to.i bet it would be expensive to ship like it is

 

I think the supports underneath wouldn't add too much, but the panel where the lock is would make it a much larger box. Just a flat or couple inches thick would be much less to ship. But if you only need a portion in the center keeping the largest dimension under 30" would likely make a big difference.
