This looks like a nice chassis and a huge time saver for someone on the start of a project, such as one of mine. Question - What about the VIN denoted with the arrow in the image, does the right to possess it come with the frame or is it now with the body, where ever it may be?
Titles follow the body, so I don't see that as an issue even if the original body is still on the road. That is a great deal for someone close by, glws.

NO - If there is a lien or some other trouble associated with any VIN # it follows to every and any part associated with it. I have had to endure the Ohio State Highway Patrol inspection and know this first hand although never yet had trouble of my own. Duplicate titles are commonly issued from the frame VIN when door tag has become lost, such as in the case of one of my 66's. If your car has VIN's that do not match you better know why, they confiscate here on that basis alone.
I would just get a notorized bill of sale with the Vin# on it from the seller to produce as evidence if an issue comes up. Other than that, here in Texas would just throw the body on it and run with the body tag.
