Sidewinder test

The reason I will not test is basically simple. I can test and state it works, the new owner could say it does not! The Tach might work fine. I did have a black unit which I sold the same way, the guy contacted me and said it worked fine! So, the new owner will be the winner as these are seen rarely anymore.
Thanks,

I had one repaired last year and it cost $269.00. Actually, they were unable to repair it, so they replaced the innards. Looks just like OEM on the outside.

Sidewinder Tach

I had some very low offers on PM and direct calls. I checked eBay and a unit on there just sold for $650 yet was missing parts and no where near as clean. While the guy mentions his works at this time, he gave no guarantee. See the link, maybe this will help someone decide. Bottom line, if I can't get at least $500. I will list on eBay.. Thanks, for the information.

it did not sell for $650...a best offer was accepted..it sold somewhere between $299 and $405

At $500 a seller gives ebay $70 in fees, thats 14%

Mark,
I appreciate your information, and not sure where you got your sell price. At this time it really doesn't matter since it is no longer available, I posted it prior to your reply. The unit is no longer available! It has new owner which I am sure they are happy.

Congratulation to both seller and buyer, trying to verify if this was available on a '65. Have an August built 65 442 and trying to verify, car has a '66 drivetrain. Would like to have a tach above my feet, if it was available?

Could it have been a late '65 option?
