1966 425ci for sale

1966 425ci complete engine for sale. Bought it a couple years ago to build but don't see me getting to it anytime soon.

It is complete from intake to oilpan. I am told it came out of a running, wrecked, JetStar or Starfire, can't remember.

The engine turns over by hand easily. I have pulled the heads for inspection and it has the higher compression pistons. Cylinder walls look very nice on visual inspection. It has "B" heads.

$350 obo! I need the room!

Thanks. I am located about 20 minutes south of Birmingham, Al. and cannot ship.

Warren..

Probably a 1966 425, 1965 had A heads with the one year only valve train for the big block.

You are correct. It is a 1966. Not sure why I wrote 1965. Thanks for catching that!

Any interest? Really just need this out of the way and don't want to scrap.

Thanks!

:-)

If it doesn't sell locally I might just do that. Was worried the cost would be prohibitive.

I bought a 350 olds motor in Los Angeles and paid $300 to deliver it to my home in north Bay Area which was pretty fair.
just get a pallet and some 2x4 pieces and you can bolt it and strap it to it.easily loads and off loads with an engine hoist.
