1964 to 1969 4-speed console with vacuum gauge. Seattle WA, $1,650
This is a very nice original 4-speed console for an Oldsmobile 442. It's also the same console for a 64-69 cutlass with muncie 4-speed manual transmission. I believe this one is out of a 1966 442 convertible with factory vacuum gauge. There's a rocket emblem that bolts to the top of the console on cars without the factory vacuum gauge if you prefer to run the console without the gauge.
This is a very nice unrestored console. It's not perfect, but for 53 years old it's extremely nice. The face on the vacuum gauge is probably the nicest I've ever seen. This one is ready to bolt in and head to the car show.
Great looking console, would be awesome to put in my ‘64 to make 442 clone perhaps and I’m not too far from you (Portland). Unfortunately at this stage of restoration that’s a lot of coin that could go to actually getting mine running and on the road. Perhaps there will be one still around when that time comes. glws
