1963 Jetfire rear end 3.36 open, price reduced 12/2025

Here is a rear end from a 1963 Jetfire. I've been told that it will fit the 1961-63 Cutlass but have not confirmed that. If anyone here knows for sure please post in this thread. The code on the cover shows it as being a 3.36 ratio non-posi. I pulled the cover and the oil is black, but the gears look good. I don't see any damage on the teeth. The ratio stamped into the ring gear is 11 - 37 which calculates as 3.36 confirming the stamp on the inspection cover. I would like $150 $125 plus shipping or $100 $75 if you can pick it up. Check out the photos and let me know if you have any questions or would like to see any close-ups or views not clear in these. Located in Medford Oregon. John

Yes, it fits all the 61-63 F-85, Cutlass and Jetfire. Looks like a clean rear end with not much pitting

The C on the cover stands for 3.36 gears also. The 2 after it is the second day of the year.

Thank you Eric. Yes, the outside of the car looked decent, without any cancer type rust. But it sat out with the windows rolled up for decades so the interior was like a greenhouse. The floorboards were so rusty when the owner was cleaning it up with a shop vac the floorboard was crumbling and holes opened up, big holes.

Still black paint on portions of the axle tubes.

The date cast into the pumpkin is 353, so it didn't sit on the shelf for long! The motor block has 408 stamped into it. Would that be the number of Jetfire blocks cast to that point? Or may be installed at that date? John

I did not see this till now. Nobody knows what that number is. More than one block can have the same number. The JJ is specific to Jetfire though. The date of the block is just under this shelf on the front of the block
