Removed from a rotted 1965 pan. Factory part number 577646.
Used only on Olds V8's from 61 thru 65 except 215's. 61-63 394's and 64-65 330, 400 & 425's.
Includes:
- The "star"/eight point drive drain plug. Good threads. Can be removed via a 1/2" square drive ratchet with no socket.
- Copper washer
- The plate that the drain plug screws into. The plate will need to be "ground flat" to remove a bit of the original welding slag for a nice tight seal but this won't be a problem as there is more than enough material for this.
Everything you need to repair a damaged drain plug, except the welder!
