"Here goes, it seems that it has been a LONG time since anyone has posted anything here. Let's try this;
I have what I was told was a 1955 324 ci Oldsmobile Rocket V8. I have had it sitting on an engine stand in my garage for around 15 years. The only identification I have found is on the bellhousing; 7 563922; CFD 4; O1X. It is a 4bbl engine. All I have done is clean it up. The heads have not been off of it while I have owned it. The carb will need to be rebuilt and the water pump casting is broken at the shaft. I will get pictures if anyone is interested. I hate to sell it, but it probably isn't going to get into a car from my effort. I am in Sterling Heights, MI. The engine and stand will be sold as is, with the shipping or pick up the responsibility of the new owner. Call 586.260.9080 between 3:00pm and 8:00 pm.
