1953 olds dash

I have a guy interested in buying a dash out of one of my 1953 Olds 88s.He wants to put it in a custom truck build. Wondering what a fair price is to remove and sell the dash (excluding shipping). Thanks for your help.

With speedometer? With radio? With chrome? Tough to say but someone on that auction site has a bare '56 dash for $125. Who knows if that's a fair price

If it were mine, I would ask at least $300 plus the freight.

He wants the chrome and switches and clock. Not the gauges. A buddy of mine says he will take it out for $50. Thinking $300 or $350 plus the $50 to remove plus shipping. Does this sound fair ?

Once you put a price out there, you can always come down but it is near impossible to go up. I think $300 is fair. It is not like there are lots of them out there for sale.

Do you happen to have one of the chrome Air ***** down by the steering column? I'm missing the left hand one...

I could use the exhaust clamps/hangers as well. There's a pretty nifty clamp/hanger piece that goes just behind the muffler, fitting in between the side rail and the X-frame, that I would like to duplicate for my new dual exhaust.

I'd say anything below $500 (incl. shpg) is a bargain, depending on the overall condition; heck "they're not making 'em anymore... and if yours is a decent original..." Maybe you already cut the deal? Let us know and good luck.

3JDS, never mind about the exhaust - I actually found an NOS bracket on eBay. If you have the chrome ****, I do still need that. Thanks.

I saw earlier that you were parting a 53 and need some parts for my 98. I need the lower windshield molding that inserts into the rubber seal. I'm not sure what years and models will interchange. Got anything/help?
