68 Lower Dash Paint Color Code

OK, I'm sure this is on the site somewhere already. Seem to remember seeing it but cannot find it. I have a willow gold 68 Cutlass convert with the willow gold interior, but the lower metal dash is some sort of dark green close to the dash pad color. What is the paint code for this?

Autocolorlibrary will have the paint sheet with the color chips on it, you can also view the back side which gives the interior paint codes.

Thanks. Looked on the color library site. Still confused. My interior color code is 944. On those sheets it says dark poly gold. I seem to remember a guy wiping over the painted lower dash and it being the willow gold color under the darker color. I see a color called Jade Gold Poly that looks like the color I need. Anybody got any thoughts? Not looking at a technically correct resto here just looking to get close and redo lower metal dash.

Prolly not helpful, but

My '68 has dark red 'Garnet' interior. I spent a ton of time trying to find the modern equivalent of the PPG(?) Dupont (?) color code from the original 1968 Olds chip chart I have. (Don't have my chart with me, but it was something like 4630). Any cross references I found were not the same color.

I finally ended up just grabbing a modern (PPG, I think) chip book and matching it. Came out perfect.

First - beautiful looking interior!

I'm not sure if the 68 and 69 color codes are the same. If they are, the 69 color code for interior color shows a Medium green in semi gloss code for Du Pont 799 99300. It also states the lower dash color is specified as 'Dark Green Metallic - code w3873. I don't know if this is the right one for you but I'd suspect it's very close? The information should be in the 1968 Cutlass Assembly Manual. If you don't have one, they're worth their weight in shipping.

One of the members here (Diego) knows this information and has access to all the color codes. Maybe send him a PM and ask?

You want this to fix that scraping under the glove box and ignition, right?

My buddies '68 442 has that same color interior, but I cannot remember what shade of green that the bottom panel is, if I see his car this weekend I'll take a pic, but that may not help with the paint code.

Though it doesn't help with the paint code, this is what my buddy's dash looks like on his '68 442 with the willow gold interior.
