Hot Rod Flatz question

Has anyone shot Hot Rod Flatz paint? I'm planning on using it on my 51 Olds. What were your experiences with it?

everything has to be clean very clean. the satin finish does not hide anything either. it will show sand scratches and even bad body work, it is actually harder to spray this paint than normal base coat clear because there is no room for flaw it cannot be sanded or buffed . also the orange peel has to be uniform the paint has to almost lay flat otherwise it will look bad. i did a harley a few months back we did a tangerine metallic with satin black scallops i had to redo thye scallops because of dirt landing in the paint . i would practice before spraying play with the psi of the gun, distance and even temperature goes into affect on how the finish will look. it's not impossible to do this style paint but the process is very intense no corners can be cut

i sprayed this 55 a couple years ago with the dark gray.

one thing i can say about it, i hope you have an air supplied respirator. the stuff is nasty. i sprayed the parts in the garage, with only a fan in the window and a cartridge mask. i felt like crap the night of, and the day after. i read more than a few threads on sites with guys discussing how sick they got/felt after using it, too. it wouldn't keep me from using it again, but i've also bought an air supplied respirator since then.

i also used their red oxide (which i have to tint to get the shade i want) on the bottom of car bodies that require it for restoration purposes.
