I think black would be fine... It is your car after all...

Crimson red with red interior sounds very attractive - and UNIQUE! It makse your car stand out more.
Black is everywhere it seems... Hard to keep clean and can make the car look smaller too (at least my eyes see it like that).
Just buy another car that's black!

However, it is YOUR decision and your choice. I just like crimson...

paint it what you want, the nice thing is black is a stock color, though when you change colors it is more work than when you are repainting - yes with a great paint job either is the same amount of work, but many times people won't worry about door jams or the inside of the fendors, trunk etc.

Keep it red for originality, striking color that looks great even if body work isn't flawless, easy to shine and doesn't show swirl marks from polishing like black does.

If you take your time with the right products, black isn't that tough to make nice and swirl free. I agree the bodywork has to be on but I had a guy come up to me and ask what wax I use on
My car. He couldn't believe when I said none. I just went down the lime on 3M products and finished with the blue polish on a blue foam pad. No swirls. I do have one spot low that I didn't get the wetland scratches out totally but nobody notices it but me. Next spring I will get them but for now it's as deep a black as I've ever seen and I recommend it if you think the bodywork is up to snuff. Those curves look awesome with the blue sky and clouds reflecting on them and no other color can have that effect.

Thanks Rob. I just read my reply above my post. NICE job on the autocorrect, Crapple! Sorry. I know what I'm spelling. I hate it. I can understand a word in a sentence easier with one word misspelled than one completely wrong.
