Help!! Which green should I do??? Painting doors this week!!

I'm painting my doors this weekend and am battling between these 3 shades of green the wrench is like kawasaki green the left chip is luscious green and the right chip is gecko green as in the color that's on the jeep. any thoughts? I'm leaning towards gecko. I did edit the color on the pictures to make them look as close to real life as I can so... Thanks oh and should I paint my mirrors green too? Or paint them black or I was thinking of buying new chrome ones for about 70 bucks I appreciate guys in advance

FWW, I like the one (of 2) on the left. Now if I was being asked by a former mother in law, she would then do the opposite.

Thanks Steve that is why I'm having trouble deciding. the one on the right is on this jeep thus im attracted to it. I think comparing them side by side makes it look like mother in laws car but alone it looks awesome.

76 offered Lime Mettalic, but I feel like I once saw something more in your direction. I've probably got it confused with the Challenger green out there now.

Yes I have seen synergy green thank you for bringing that up 66 its a beautiful color but I think I want a solid color to give it that kind of classic feel.

I Like the Gecko. Good choice, cant wait to see it done. I like the idea of black mirrors like a satin black not gloss. I see some cars all colored out and dont like the look as much as ones with a bit of contrast again my opinion and 2cents.

Have Fun

Hey Keith, my thoughts exactly! I just wanted to hear someone else say that too! Thanks! I'm feeling good about matte black mirrors now! I'll post pics when I get the doors+ mirrors painted

I didnt add a vote yesterday, but reviewed the colors again today and was going to vote gecko so yeah lets roll!!

definetly satin or matte black on the mirrors, maybe the thin 442 stripe or w30 stripe on the side, or if you want to make joe unhappy w36 stripe in the wrong location on the wrong year

looks like it will match your watch too

I was going to ask if the watch came with the paint? It should look great, I also like the matte black hi-lights.

I am not a body or paint person but was curious about painting the matte or satin black first, then tape off what ever black you want to keep then spray the green over it. I don't know if a dark color underneath the finish coat would also have any influence of the final color vs a lighter undercoat?

I learned that you always want to paint light undercoats before spraying bright light colors because it helps it pop and since I have the mirrors of the door Im painting them separately as a matter of fact I'm in the process of painting the doors right now!!!!! I'm so excited it's looking good!

OK so as I promised pictures of my doors!!!! I'm happy with the way they came out. I had a little problem right at the end and ended up with a little lump of clear coat trying to fill in a crater that a friendly little bug left and sadly didn't get a picture of it but I'll fix it when it dries in a day or two and I'm waiting for a driver side mirror to come in next week because I accidentally cut the things holding the mirror in Oops will paint those matte black soon I can't wait getting so excited even though the rest of the car isn't even ready to paint!!

I THINK I'VE Fallen IN LOVE!!!
