What is the correct air cleaner color for a 1968 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 455 with 2 barrels carb ?
I heard that it was all black when it was a 2 barrels and all red when it was a 4 barrels.

Usually that’s correct but it’s actually Red for high compression and Black for low compression. Since most of the time 4bbl were high compression and 2bbl were low compression a lot of people think that’s the reason for the colors. My 68 2bbl 455 is high compression and came with a Red 2bbl air cleaner.
