I am in the process of repairing damaged 1962 olds Dynamic 88. What is the black color name for under the hood , inner fenders etc. Also the engine is a 394 cu.in. and what color is the block suppose to be? Thankyou for this info.

 

Use a 60% gloss black on the black components and you will be very close. Krylon Satin Black is very close if you want to use rattle cans. If the car is apart and you want to use a spray gun, have the paint supply mix up the 60% gloss.


High compression 394s are red. Low compression are a light green. Fusick www.fusick.com should have both.
