Can anyone tell me the paint code for the W42 hood stripe option with the color being gold and it is on an original sable colored 1969 442. Here is a pic of the trunk lid with the color.

 

The gold stripe on the trunk lid shown above is the same color that i want to paint on the hood. (w42 option stripes) If anyone could please give me a paint code for the color it would be much appreciated. thanks.

 

the stripe codes always are a challenge, maybe someone with a 69 manual can chime in, except for white and black stripes the colors seem to vary from the body color so the gold for 69 that year is probably different than the gold use to stripe the cars, sorry I can't be of much help only have info for the 70

 

How convenient, I still had the TCP Global Auto Color Library '69 color chip up from another post.
They had black, white, blue, gold and red striping, the gold is code 23197.
