My 442 Is Finally In Her Dressing Room
With a frame off restoration and putting my 1971 442 back exactly as we was has taken nine months now. We all know when it comes to WHO does the body and paint work, it is a very scary thought and decision. I visited and talked and listened. Would go back in a few weeks and the story and what was going on in the shop was different. Had commited to one shop and wound up pulling it out and took her home to regroup. So now that I'm "in" with the "real" players, I have an excellent professional shop I found here in Lexington, KY. Big John's Custom Shop. It is not a collision shop. Hot Rods old trucks and Muscle cars only. Their work is fabulous. They have the space, equipment and experience to do the job professionally. This is not an ad for them. Just wanted to let everyone know here is an honest and straight shooting guy.
His name is John phone # 859-881-4240. Jessica is there as well and does fantastic metal work and painting.
Will forward updated photos as the job progresses.
