What's your favorite original color scheme (paint & interior)?

Any color as long as it's blue. I love the light blue of my interior. The outside could be twilight blue or viking blue but the interior has to make me feel like I'm in the ocean. Plus it matches the engine!

 

Black on black. IMO nothing looks sharper (when clean that is.......)

 

1968, Nocturne Blue with Parchment, otherwise Sapphire, Nassau, Astro, Nordic, and Viking Blue with the various shades of white offered those years. I also am fond of Saffron Yellow with White/Parchment or black in the mid 60's models and Saffron Yellow with the Yellow Pearl interior in '67.

 

1970 Rallye red with black stripes and black interior

 

I like Black on Black interior with Red stripes (I am partial). Next fav would be Matador Red with Black interior and stripes (still got to get me one like my Dad had)! Hmm but then there is also Viking Blue with White interior and stripes (and conv top).

I like Daves point depends on the year . I really like code 43 Lime green with white stripes form 71 I like the mutted yellow form 68 .

 

I like black on black for the 64-67 cars. Silver with black vinyl top and interior on the 68-72 cars. You just can't go wrong with black and silver. My least favorite? Bright red! YUK! Yes I know my '65 is red but I wish it wasn't.

 

Scarlet red / black vinyl top / black interior.

2nd fav would be black exterior w/ red guts, or at least red seats.

Black + Red = SEX

 

triple white, boring but classy
