Ive owned mostly 71 & 72 cutlass/442 and I had a 70 Pace car also. I never thought twice about the color of the fender filler around the headlights. I thought they were all painted same color as the fender. Ive noticed on my 70 442 the original fillers are silver it looks like to match the color of the headlight bezels? Are the head light surrounds also silver or are they body color? is this correct?

 

The 1970 fender fillers and headlight housings are silver, krylon dull aluminum is a real nice match.
