67 Delmont wHot Rod Black On Bottom

The Olds got a little hot rod black on the lower body and bumpers. It seemed to calm the metal flake a little....

Thanks! Worth mentioning, the fellow shown in one of the pictures (walking with a cane towards the car) knew exactly what year and model it was. It turns out that he bought a new Delmont 88 in 1968. Now he has a 1967 Impala SS with a 450 HP (modified) 396. It's interesting who the car people are.

Great look on that car! Really shows off the body lines. I love big old Oldsmobiles, so comfy and you don't see yourself coming and going. BTW my dad had a big 75 Delta 88 sedan when I was a kid, 455/400 we used to pull a 25 ft boat. He had those GMC truck/van wheels on it too with some big wide (aspect ratio) white walls. That thing would pull the boat down the highway at a steady 75 mph.
