My 56 S-88 has a paint code of 10 on the ID tag. Does anyone know what color that is? The car was black when I bought it and I re-painted it GM black. But there was some white on some of the body. The door sticks and inside trunk/hood are black.

 

According to a book I have called "The American Automobile Paint Code Interchange Manual" paint code 10 for a 56 Olds is Black. The two different white colors offered that year were either code 60 or 90.
