I thought I had the manual with the 1969 442 Hood and trunk lid stripes but I guess not. Can some one post the page with specs please.

There were no trunk stripes on the '69 4-4-2. The hood stripes are shown in manual section 1-4, page 400 of the '69 assembly manual. Unfortunately, this page doesn't really nail down exactly where the stripes go. It seems to me that, somewhere in this forum, someone had posted the exact measurements and placement of the stripes some time ago. Perhaps you can do a search and see if anything is there.

I can't believe the blasphemy Chevelle stripes on a Olds! Sorry I meant the small one that runs along the bottom of the trunk lid and above the taillights. I should edit my first post so I don't get banned...

I saw it before on here too and it was on the 69olds.com site but that is no more.

Now remember when considering the distance to the bottom of the decklid, there us a stainless piece that goes there too.

...and you will find some technical detail on that trunk stripe in manual section 1-4, page 402, of the assembly manual. The stripe across the bottom of the trunk lid is twice the thickness of the stripe that goes around the tail lights.
