I have a 1964 Cutlass purchased from the orginal owner and the trunk is the same color as the body and I have a 1967 Cutlass with the trunk painted with spatter paint.

What is the correct trunk color protocal for each year from 1964-1967 ? Did different assembly plants paint the trunks differently ?

 

64 to 66 were painted body color. 67 was the first year for spatter paint in trunk.
